Celebrity obsession of the week...

Isn't she just gorgeous??? Everytime I look at her, I just get jealous because she is so flawlessly beautiful!

She has been a very busy girl as of late. First, came Black Swan.


How jealous am I that she got to wear such amazing dance outfits! I have always wanted to find an excuse to wear a tutu and leg warmers (without being at an 80s themed party)!

Then we find out that she is engaged and pregnant by Benjamin Millepied, a choreographer and her fance partner in the movie. Did I mention how cute he was??

She has already won 5 awards for her performance in Black Swan, including the Golden Globe. She is nominated for the SAG awards that are next week, and even though the Oscar nominations haven't been anounced yet, I'm sure she will be getting that too! And although I didn't personally love her dress she chose for the Golden Globes, her acceptance speech was adorable!!

And her other movie with Ashton Kutcher "No Strings Attached" actually came out today! Oh I can't wait to go see this! It looks soooooo cute!!

So this sums up all of the things that I am loving about Ms. Portman at the moment. Hope you all loved my new weekly post! Stay tuned for next week...

Therefore, each week I will blog about my weekly obsession with a particular celeb; what they are doing, who they are dating, what they are wearing, where they are going... It's a little crazy that I care so much, but I really just can't help it! First post coming soon...

And we're off to Branson...

This weekend my parents, 5 brothers and sisters(Judd can't go), my brother-in-law, and niece will be traveling to Branson, MO for a much needed vacation. I know what you're thinking! Branson? For vacation?? At this point, I'll take whatever I can get!

Why Branson you might ask? Well, a few months back, my parents decided to go on a fishing vacation to all of their favorite fishing holes around the south. They traveled to Heber Springs, AR, Eureka Springs, AR, and finally Branson, MO. While staying at the Big Cedar Lodge hotel, they realized you could buy a time share there and jumped right on it! Luckily, it is a part of a bigger time share company that has hotels and resorts all over the country, not just Branson!

So our first venture is to stay in this cabin at the Big Cedar Lodge!




Not that bad!! I am very excited about staying here because it is really nice! It has an indoor pool, hottub, lots of restaurants, and a really fun bar! And did you see that amazing fireplace in our cabin??

Unfortunately, there are no shows that are showing while we are there. All the shows take a break in January and February. There were a few shows that I was really looking foward to, but oh well!! Luckily there are a few musuems and things we can still go to! Also, Country Strong comes out on Friday, so I'm sure we will be going to see that at some point!

Did I mention that my parents are using the time share points to go to Jamaica in March?? SOOO not fair!

Got to go pack! I will let you know how it goes! It will be a miracle if we can go a whole weekend without any fights. 11 people in 2 cabins...it could get interesting!!

Christmas Wish List

Oh how I LOVE Christmas! It really is the most wonderful time of the year! Luckily, I was home when my mom decided to start decorating, so after everyone else got everything out of the attic, I started helping(I have a fear of attics. It's weird, I know!) This year we decided to have 2 trees, one in the front of the house, and one in the back! The one in the back is our snow flocked artificial tree with all red and green ornaments. And for the first time in 13 years, we are having a real tree in the front of the house, decorated in all gold ornaments!! I may be a little biased, but they are both sooooo pretty!!

Yesterday we had a little mishap with the real tree though. My moms cat decided to play in it, and the whole things came crashing down, breaking a lot of the ornaments. Sad day, but that did mean that I got to go buy a few new ones! Did I mention how heavy a 9 foot real tree is???

Now on to my Christmas Wish List! At first I could not really think of things I wanted to ask for. It took a me while to even tell my mom anything that I even thought I wanted.

I eventually decided my big item I wanted was a black Tory Burch cross body purse(couldn't find the exact one, but it's similar to this)! It is GORGEOUS, if I must say so myself!

At the time, the only other thing I could think of that I wanted was a new pair of Uggs! I decided on the short Bailey Button in Grey.

I have also picked up random things here and there that have eventually added up and now my mom is saying she is DONE shopping for me. Well that really sucks, because now I have actually made a full Christmas Wish List. These are some of the things I really want now(but probably won't get :( )

1. New Tom's Cordones. They are my new obsession! I already have 2 pairs, and I literally want them in every color! (they don't have the color I want in womens, that's why i'm asking for mens!)

2. Ronaldo Prayer Bracelet

3. Polaroid PIC-300B Instant Analog Camera. A new spin on an old camera! Take a picture, and print it instantly from the camera! SOOOOOO cool!

Hopefully my mom, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, or friends will take a look at this so they will know what I want!! wink, wink

Finally Fall...

Some people might be wondering what is going to be big for fall this year. Having gone to Apparel Market in the summer to shop for fall clothes, I feel as though I am well educated in all the fall trends. Long time, no blog

So I know it has been FOREVER since I last blogged, but I have decided to go at it again! I have kinda missed it! A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. Let's see, I moved into a new house with my lovely roommates Kassey and Charles. We are having the best time together! My family opened a clothing boutique in Tunica called Twelve Fifty-One Apparel http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/pages/Tunica-MS/Twelve-Fifty-One-Apparel/142289909134041 , which I work at every Wednesday! I had a wreck with an 18 wheeler! No fun at all, but luckily I was not hurt too badly. Can't say the same about ole "Baby Got Back" though! Which leads to me getting my new car that I am absolutely LOVING!

Not much going on this week, but this weekend is going to be EPIC! Not only is it Halloween, but it is also a very big football weekend for Ole Miss! We are playing Auburn which will be very interesting! And, pretty much every graduate of Ole Miss last year is coming back for the weekend!! yay!!! We will be going to the Library on Friday night for a costume party/contest, where me and about 10 other people will be dressed up like the Harlem Globe Trotters! Then we will go to the game on Saturday, possibly out afterwards, then a Halloween party on Sunday at our friends Bentley and Adam's house! Very excited!!!
