Live. Life. Good....

I dedicate this blog to Madysen Acey. Last Sunday while at a friends house she was playing outside on a tractor, and as she was about to fall off she grabbed onto the first thing she could reach. Sadly, that was a live power line. She was immediately rushed to Le Bonheur Children's hospital in Memphis, TN. From there she was rushed to The Med in Memphis where they immediately had to amputate her right arm, starting at the shoulder. A couple of days later she was sent to the Shiners Burn Clinic in Cincinnati, OH. She has had many surgeries while there, and will have a few more before she can leave. At first they thought they could save her right hand and arm, but after further examining it, they have now amputated from right below the elbow. This prescious little girl couldn't be stronger right now. She is a breath of fresh air. Although she is going through a lot of pain, you would never know it. She has very high spirits and all of this hasn't seemed to fase her yet. She has started physical therapy, so maybe she will be able to come home soon! If you are reading this, please pray for this amazing soul. She is one of the happiest people I have ever met, and I don't think her accident will change that.
Madysen's motto is Live. Life. Good. What an amazing little girl!
