Don't be a drag, just be a Queen

SATURDAY!! SATURDAY!! SATURDAY!!!

To say that I am excited to see the Fame Monster on Saturday would be an understatement!! I have been obsessed with this lad for many a year, and have wanted to see her ever since! This Saturday in New Orleans my dream is finally coming true! I am traveling with my brother and 8 of my best friends to see the one and only! I have been planning my outfit for weeks, so much so that I forgot to even get a hotel room until last night! I was too excited to even think about it!

I really don't have many more words to express my excitement, so I thought I would give you a little slideshow of some of my favorite looks she has rocked!

(Oh to be in such a picture of divas!)

P.S. Did I mention we will be carrying Ann Clark in the vessel all around Nola?? She's really happy about it!

Oh Christian!

If anyone knows anything about me, you know how obsessed I am with Christian Louboutins. It is unhealthy how much I love that red sole. They really are the best shoes in the world!

As of late, I have been noticing a new one that I've never seen before. At first I thought it was the YSL Tribute, but oh no! It just happens to be the most fabulous Christian Louboutin I might have ever seen! It also doesn't hurt that the two people I have seen them on the most just happen to be my favs; Beyonce and Kim K! Can we say FAB??? Have a look at the amazing Christian Louboutin Daffodil Pumps!!

Oh yeah! Those are Beyonce's!!

And Kim K wearing them with my fav look! Boyfriend jeans and a Tee. And I think I read that this was just for a trip to the nail salon. Oh to be that rich!! ha

And look how cute Emma Roberts is paying her parking meter.

These are my new obsession and will probably will be for a long time! Oh to own them one day! A girl can dream!

Fashion, turn to the right, Fashion

I have always wanted my life to be a little like Alicia Silverstone's in Clueless. Cher lived the best life. She had an amazing best friend, Dion, she was very popular, she had a cute step-brother(oh Paul Rudd, how I adore you!!), and had a "pimped out Jeep Daddy got me!" But above all others, the thing I was most jealous of was her closet. It wasn't just any closet; it had a remote control!!! aaaahhhh And what's even cooler was that she could pick out her outfits on a computer and it would tell her if it was cute or not! I mean, how cool??

Although I'm not nearly as cool as Cher was/is and don't have a computer and remote control operated closet, and I don't think I could pull off a yellow plaid skirt with knee high white socks, I was thinking of some of the amazing items I might have in that awesome closet. Here are a few things I think i might have!

This short, shirt, blazer combo is one of my favorite looks right now! And all black is always a great way to go!!

This red Trench Coat with (possibly nothing under it) black booties is so edgy and classy at the same time! I LOVE it!!

I am sooo in love with this mustard color dress it is crazy!! She is rocking it so well too!

Let's be honest, can you really go wrong with a Little Black Dress?? (p.s. I want your husband!)

Oh Malin! You got it right! This dress is FABULOUS!! It makes me swoon!

These are a few things I would have in there. What about you??

Celebrity obsession of the week...

Alex Pettyfer

I mean, how hot?????

If some don't know who he is, that is fine. He hasn't been around for long, but I feel he might be here to stay. Yesterday Charles and I went to see his new movie I Am Number Four with the absolutely gorgeous Dianna Agron, and I LOVED IT!!! It was actually really, really good! It was just the right amount of scary, and a lot of action!

There are reports that the adorable couple, Alex and Dianna, have broken up, and that it might have just been a publicity stunt for the movie, but oh well! They are adorable together! I do find it odd that they were already lviing together, so I guess I might believe it was for the movie, which kind of sucks. I don't think these beautiful human beings will have any trouble finding someone else to like them!
Alex my number is 662....

His next movie coming out is Beastly with Vannesse Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, and my favorite, Neil Patrick Harris! It is a new spin on the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast.
He is a popular boy at his high school, until Olsen's character puts a curse on him and he turns into a monster. If he can find someone to love him by a certain hour, she will reverse the curse. Cue Hudgens.

I really just can't get over how good looking this boy is! I mean look!

And he even models for Burberry. I would buy anything he was trying to sell me!

I try to forget that he is actually two years younger than me, but who am I kidding, I don't even care! He is beautiful and I hope to see him in many more things in the NEAR future!!!

Hope yall don't think I'm creepily obessed this week!

P.S. Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been battling the flu, had a FABULOUS birthday, and just been really, really busy! I will try to do better in weeks to come!!

And the Oscar goes to...

Oh how I LOVE the Oscars!! In my opinion, it is the most glamorous and magical night of the year! Actors and actresses dress in their(borrowed) finest, have a lavish dinner, and then if they are lucky, get to go home with the most coveted trophy in history(sorry Super Bowl).

This year they are being hosted by two of my favorite actors ever, Anne Hathaway and James Franco.

Along with hosting this year, James is also nominated for his work in 127 Hours, the story of a mountain climber that gets stuck for 127 hours and ends up cutting his own arm off. I haven't seen it yet, but it does sound amazing!

Since we have been at home a lot for the past two days due to 6 inches of snow(for the second time) in MISSISSIPPI, I have had a lot of time to watch movies. So I decided I would try to watch as many Oscar nominated films as I could.

First up, Blue Valentine.

Although Ryan Gosling is way attractive, and Michelle Williams has been a fav since her days at the Creek, I had high hopes for this particular movie. I think they were too high. It was so freaking depressing!! I thought it was gonna be tons of sex and love since at first it was rating NC-17. It wasn't. There was one very graphic sex scene, but it wasn't even with Ryan(what's the fun in that??) All in all, it was ok, but not my fav.

Next was Black Swan.

I wasn't sure if I even wanted to watch it because I knew it was a tad bit crazy, but since I love Natalie Portman so much, I knew I should watch it. I actually really enjoyed it. It too was a little depressing, but I still liked it. It had a few parts that made my skin crawl, and I might have jumped up off my bed a few times, but it was still a very enjoyable movie! I honestly believe that Natalie has deserved all the awards she has won, and definitely should win the Oscar!
P.S. How hot is Mile Kunis?? Obsessed with her!!

That is all I've watched so far, but I am gearing up to watch The King's Speech.

I have only heard amazing things about it. I mean how cute is Colin Firth?? And I LOVE seeing Helena Bonham Carter in something other than Harry Potter and anything her husband, Tim Burton, creates! I will get back with you on what I think about it.

Until then, I hope everyone is staying warm in this snowy, Mississippi weather!

Celebrity obsession of the week...(and forever, ever, ever, ever...)

Justin Timberlake

Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love Justin. From his music, his amazingly good looks, his movies(anyone remember Model Behavior??? Let's just say, it's not up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, but it was still a great Disney movie!!), or his fashion! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM!!!

Let's take a walk down memory lane shall we...
He grew up just 45 minutes from my hometown in Memphis, TN. Then he went on to star in The Mickey Mouse club!

Oh hey Britney, Christina, and Ryan Gosling!

He then joined a boy band named N*SYNC(I'd be lying if I said I didn't go to 3 concerts! They were AWESOME!)

During his run with N*SYNC when he started dating the pop princess herself, Miss Britney Spears.

I know, I know! But I just had to!! Those outfits will go down in history as the worst ever couple look-a-likes!!! God love them! After publicly proclaiming that they would stay virgins until marriage, it got out that they had done the deed. It really bothered a lot of people in the world, but not me; it only made him that much hotter! Brit Brit eventually cheated on my beloved Justin with Fred Durst (eww) and so he broke up with her and released "Cry Me A River", a ballad very much directed towards her, with a Britney look-a-like in the video!

And that brings us to the amazing Cameron Diaz and Justin!!

She has always been one of my favorite actresses, so when they started dating, I was ecstatic! They were the perfect Hollywood couple! They were both breathtakingly gorgeous, tall, funny, and very used to the spotlight. Not really sure what went wrong with this relationship, but I won't lie, I still wish they were together all the time!

I almost forgot to mention how amazing he was on SNL ALL THREE TIMES!!!! Here is his Emmy Award Winning digital short with the amazing Andy Samberg.

I find no need to talk about his current relationship, given that I do not care for her at all, so I hope a breakup is in his future!! (that was harsh, but it's how I feel)

Hope y'all enjoyed my freakish obsession with Justin!

Going to the Big D....

So for the past week I have been in Dallas with my step-brother Rob, sister Robyn, and best friend Joe, who is from Dallas. We were there shopping for our apparel store Twelve fifty-One Apparel. I had to work my ass off, but it was all in fun and games!

I get to go to Dallas pretty often, and so I have things I always want to do while I'm there:

2) Go shopping at North Park Mall

3) Go to my favorite bar The Round up (a country gay bar by day, and hip hop gay bar by midnight!)

4) Late night at either Whataburger or Jack In The Box

I am proud to say, that we accomplished all 4 of my requests!!

And got a little present from Joe while at Neiman Marcus!! What fun!

I am now the proud owner of these fabulus Tory Burch sunglasses in grey!!

I am soooo glad taht I got out of Dallas right before the snow came, because Joe hasn't left his condo since we left Monday morning, how annoying!

Although the Super Bowl is this weekend, in Dallas, I honestly do not care for either of the teams, so I will be babysitting 5 kids while their parents are boozing and grazing the night away! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Celeb obsession to come shortly...

Celebrity obsession of the week...

Jessica Simpson

I know! I know! Most people are probably thinking "What the hell?", but I have always had a great love and appreciation for her! From her days on Newlyweds,

to her amazing shoes, (I would be ashamed to even tell you how many pairs I own, but I'm thinking these need to be mine pretty soon! Can I just say, the most perfect nude pump EVER!!)

to her adorable new line of clothes! This dress is great in so many ways! It will be great for any summer wedding/party I will be attending this year!

And although most people looked down on her for dating a married man(now they are engaged), for some reason, I didn't (and just to clarify, he was in the process of getting a divorce! Give the girl a break).

I mean let's face it, they look pretty happy!

Rock on Jessica, rock on! (and keep making fabulous shoes for me to buy!)

(I've decided not to comment on her engagement ring. Because I think it is hideous. Oops, I commented. Shoot me.)

Celebrity obsession of the week...

Natalie Portman

Isn't she just gorgeous??? Everytime I look at her, I just get jealous because she is so flawlessly beautiful!

She has been a very busy girl as of late. First, came Black Swan.

How jealous am I that she got to wear such amazing dance outfits! I have always wanted to find an excuse to wear a tutu and leg warmers (without being at an 80s themed party)!

Then we find out that she is engaged and pregnant by Benjamin Millepied, a choreographer and her fance partner in the movie. Did I mention how cute he was??

She has already won 5 awards for her performance in Black Swan, including the Golden Globe. She is nominated for the SAG awards that are next week, and even though the Oscar nominations haven't been anounced yet, I'm sure she will be getting that too! And although I didn't personally love her dress she chose for the Golden Globes, her acceptance speech was adorable!!

And her other movie with Ashton Kutcher "No Strings Attached" actually came out today! Oh I can't wait to go see this! It looks soooooo cute!!

So this sums up all of the things that I am loving about Ms. Portman at the moment. Hope you all loved my new weekly post! Stay tuned for next week...
Most of you that know me, know that I am completely obsessed with celebrities! So I thought, what better to do than have a weekly post to demonstrate that. Therefore, each week I will blog about my weekly obsession with a particular celeb; what they are doing, who they are dating, what they are wearing, where they are going... It's a little crazy that I care so much, but I really just can't help it! First post coming soon...

Stay tuned!

And we're off to Branson...

This weekend my parents, 5 brothers and sisters(Judd can't go), my brother-in-law, and niece will be traveling to Branson, MO for a much needed vacation. I know what you're thinking! Branson? For vacation?? At this point, I'll take whatever I can get!

Why Branson you might ask? Well, a few months back, my parents decided to go on a fishing vacation to all of their favorite fishing holes around the south. They traveled to Heber Springs, AR, Eureka Springs, AR, and finally Branson, MO. While staying at the Big Cedar Lodge hotel, they realized you could buy a time share there and jumped right on it! Luckily, it is a part of a bigger time share company that has hotels and resorts all over the country, not just Branson!

So our first venture is to stay in this cabin at the Big Cedar Lodge!

Not that bad!! I am very excited about staying here because it is really nice! It has an indoor pool, hottub, lots of restaurants, and a really fun bar! And did you see that amazing fireplace in our cabin??

Unfortunately, there are no shows that are showing while we are there. All the shows take a break in January and February. There were a few shows that I was really looking foward to, but oh well!! Luckily there are a few musuems and things we can still go to! Also, Country Strong comes out on Friday, so I'm sure we will be going to see that at some point!

Did I mention that my parents are using the time share points to go to Jamaica in March?? SOOO not fair!

Got to go pack! I will let you know how it goes! It will be a miracle if we can go a whole weekend without any fights. 11 people in 2 cabins...it could get interesting!!
